Mammoth Life is making a special appearance opening for Minneapolis, Minnesota's Sleeping In The Aviary at The Replay Lounge this coming Monday, April the 25th at 10 pm!! Touring 22 dates through the midwest, south, and south east this month on the back of their brand new album titled, Great Vacation released November, 2010 on Madison, Wisconsin's small indie-label Science Of Sound, the record features the stellar lead-single, "You Don't Have To Drive." Incorporating a soaking lead vocal-chant/refrain along with polished production and sound composition, all coupled by a rough and raw, rock n' roll esthetic... this track makes "tasteful-balance" it's bitch.
Catch the new track along with a few others from their brand new third full-length, Great Vacation on their myspace.com/sleepingintheaviary now!!!
Following our opening slot at The Replay that night is Kansas City's, post-shoegaze, danger poppers, the High Diving Ponies. Familiar to us all in the Lawrence Music Scene via the now defunct, Chomp Womp Family Nights circa 2009 at The Taproom; they're gonna be back and are sure to bring the heat.
ML will be sporting a preview to our upcoming Rock N' Roll Kids - EP {due out July 2011}, so plan to catch the latest, including the songs "(Small Town) Rock N' Roll Kids" and "Life In The Ring." Get there early, bring your $2 cover {cheeeep} and we'll see you all on Mass and 10th this coming Monday night!!
